Wrenfield Insurance, the Austin-based independent insurance agency, has been named Independent Agency of the Year at the 2026 Capitol Insurance Awards, presented at a ceremony in Austin on 10 September. The award recognises the agency's work for auto and home policyholders across Central Texas.

Founded in 2011, Wrenfield serves 9,200 policyholders from three offices in the Austin area. The agency employs 36 people, including 12 licensed agents hired in the past three years as demand for personal auto and home cover kept growing.
